Background
Sébastien Le Corfec started out as an application developer before becoming an entrepreneur. His path led him to build digital products, create startups and help structure a regional tech ecosystem.
He co-founded the West Web Valley with Charles Cabillic and Ronan Le Moal, then came up with the West Web Festival in 2014, held at the heart of the Vieilles Charrues festival. Since then, the event has brought together entrepreneurs, investors, executives and tech personalities in a format that combines content, competition and networking.
Since Épopée Gestion was founded in 2020, he has worked as a partner on ecosystems and deal sourcing for Xplore, its venture capital arm. He identifies promising companies and nurtures ties between founders, investors and public stakeholders across the Atlantic Arc.

Sébastien Le Corfec assesses tech companies as an entrepreneur, an investor and an organizer of startup competitions. Among other things, the West Web Festival hosts an AI Challenge whose sessions he leads. This experience gives him a sharp eye for a team’s strength, a market’s relevance, a product’s differentiation and an AI innovation’s ability to get past the demo stage.
