Commitment
GENAI DAYS is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, origin, religion or technology choices.
Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate anywhere at the event, including talks, workshops, discussions and partner materials. Violating these rules may lead to sanctions up to and including expulsion without a refund.
Standards of conduct
Harassment includes, but is not limited to: verbal comments that reinforce structures of domination, sexual images in shared spaces, intimidation, stalking, unwanted following, recording or photography without consent, disruption of activities, inappropriate physical contact, unwelcome sexual advances, public nudity and encouraging any of these behaviors.
Anyone asked to stop harassing behavior must stop immediately. Partners, exhibitors and booth staff must also avoid sexualized content or clothing. A booth that does not comply may be closed.
Organizers’ authority
The organizing team may, at its discretion, take any appropriate action in response to harassment, including warning a person or expelling them without a refund, and step in to resolve any disruption or hostile situation that affects the event.
Participant responsibilities
All participants must follow these guidelines at every event venue and in related online spaces, and carry this respectful conduct beyond GENAI DAYS activities.
Reporting an incident
If you feel uncomfortable or notice inappropriate behavior, contact the organizing team right away. You can report in person to staff wearing an “Équipe GENAI DAYS” badge, or contact a member of the organizing team directly.
Reports are handled discreetly, with support available (liaison with security, escorts, local services). You can bring a support person, and you do not need to confront the person involved or disclose your identity. To report by email, write to [email protected] and include your contact details, the time and place of the incident, a description, details about the person involved and any witnesses or useful context.
Confidentiality and process
Reports are handled confidentially. When a conversation with the person involved is needed, it is kept anonymous as far as possible.
If there is a risk to your safety or of retaliation, say so in your report. Several anonymized reports about the same person may lead to action. If a public statement is required, the identities of victims and of those who reported remain confidential unless they ask otherwise.
Contact
To report an incident or a conflict of interest, contact the GENAI DAYS team at [email protected].
The Naomakers association, which organizes GENAI DAYS, ensures these principles are respected and is committed to acting quickly and fairly if they are violated.
