Profile
Background
A developer by training, Quentin Adam launched his first companies in tech and video games before co-founding Clever Cloud in Nantes in 2010. His idea was to take some of the complexity of running infrastructure off development teams’ hands.
Under his leadership, Clever Cloud has built a cloud platform that automates deploying, scaling and keeping applications up and running. This experience gives him first-hand knowledge of the technical, economic and industrial choices that shape the European digital landscape.
He is also committed to open source and digital sovereignty. A co-founder of the open source MakAir ventilator during the pandemic, he is vice president of the Open Internet Project, which advocates for fair competition in European digital markets.
Perspective
Digital and GenAI credentials
GenAI becomes a useful service when it can be implemented, monitored, secured and funded over time. That is exactly where Quentin Adam has been working for more than fifteen years. Through Clever Cloud and his talks on implementing AI in business, he connects models, cloud infrastructure, API control, costs, data and sovereignty. His strength is this production-minded view of AI, which goes beyond the tech demo.
