Profile
Background
With a master’s degree in computer science and management from the University of Nantes, Emmanuel Marboeuf started his career as a software engineer. At Thales, he became an expert in distributed architectures for cyber defense and presented his work at the Paris Air Show, on the French Ministry of Defense stand.
In 2016, he co-founded Visage, an AI recruiting startup based in San Francisco that went through the Alchemist accelerator. He was its CTO for nearly ten years. He built the product and its own AI models from scratch, assembled the technical teams and took the company past $9M in annual recurring revenue, with Fortune 500 clients in the United States and Europe. Candidates’ personal data, GDPR, the EU AI Act: security and reliability in production were part of his daily work. He also set up Visage’s French subsidiary in Nantes.
He now focuses on BWorlds, which he co-founded in Nantes with Dorian Ouvrard. The idea is to bring that experience to millions of people through a productized service and an agentic solution. BWorlds is engineering that never sleeps, for every app: agents audit apps built with AI, monitor them once they are live and turn every issue they find into a fix to apply in the tool people already build with.
Perspective
Digital and GenAI credentials
Emmanuel Marboeuf connects AI in production, sensitive data and the new generation of apps built without developers. He designed his own AI models at Visage, handled candidates’ personal data under GDPR and the AI Act, then turned that experience into the BWorlds product. He pitches at the GENAI DAYS Startup Contest.
