Profile
Background
Annabelle Koster started her career as a tech recruiter before joining the recruiting team at SFEIR, an engineering firm that has made artificial intelligence a core focus of its business, with more than 850 engineers across eight offices in France and the Benelux. She then became its Tech Community Ambassador, a role tailor-made for her.
Day to day, she runs SFEIR’s internal tech communities: back-end, front-end, cloud, data, agile and mobile meetups, internal events and challenges between colleagues. She also leads SFEIR’s sponsorships at conferences such as DevFest Nantes, Strasbourg and Lille, bdx.io, Voxxed Days Luxembourg and Devoxx Paris, from booth design to running the booth on the day.
She discovered DevFest Nantes in 2015, joined the GDG Nantes community in 2016 and became its president in 2020. She co-organizes DevFest Nantes, a major French-language developer conference that draws nearly 2,000 attendees to the Cité des Congrès de Nantes. She also writes regularly on sfeir.dev, on topics from front-end frameworks and AI to product management and security.
Perspective
Digital and GenAI credentials
Annabelle Koster works at SFEIR, an engineering firm that has made artificial intelligence a core focus of its business, and runs the communities that explore these topics every day: data and AI meetups, content on sfeir.dev, sponsorship of conferences such as DevFest Nantes. She approaches AI less in terms of pure productivity than in terms of organizational impact, upskilling and collaboration between teams. This daily experience running tech communities, combined with years of organizing DevFest Nantes, makes her a master of ceremonies who is at ease setting the pace for a day devoted to generative AI in business.
